1. cerebration ( pronunciation: ser-uh-BRAY-shuhn) (noun) - The act or product of thinking; the use of the power of reason; mental activity; thought.
2. We pair the words on the basis of common prefix that converts the word to another word.
Laughter and low become Slaughter, slow by prefixing with letter S.
Last and lame become blast and blame
Ill and east become bill and beast
Late and lot and become plate and plot
3. 40 passengers from station A for C.
20 passengers from station A for B
12 passengers from B to C.
Assume the number of passengers boarding for Station B as x
That being onethird of total passengers when the bus departs
from station A gives the number of passengers for station C
as 2x. And the number of passengers from B to C = x- 8
Now multiply these with the fair
20x2x+ 10x+15(a-8)= 1180
That solves to 20 and from that we get other passengers.
A to C: 40 x $ 20 = $ 800
A to B: 20 x $10 = $200
B to C: 12 x $15 = $180
Total $ 1180
